Show preview guide reveals a taste of JFS

Highlights of the January Furniture Show (JFS), taking place at the NEC Birmingham from 22nd-25th this month, have been revealed in the show's preview magazine.

The guide offers prospective visitors a look at the products available, and tips on making the most out of their time at the venue.

Shining a light on all the new and innovative elements to the show, the guide covers: the schedule of seminars on the Furniture Talks stage; The Furniture Awards; winning designs on display from the Young Furniture Makers; a new experiential live workshop in association with the CECM; the show's partnership with The Better Trends Company; and the launch of a new event in Hall 2, the Home Interiors Show.

James Howard, show manager, says: “The 2023 show has so many new features and over 350 premium names and up-and-coming brands, so this year’s preview guide is essential reading ahead of the event. Our talks schedule promises to deliver insightful and inspirational content, the live experiential workshop shines a light on the unprecedented skills within our industry, and The Furniture Awards and display from the Young Furniture Makers recognises those who have excelled this year.

“We can’t wait to welcome guests through the doors of the NEC on 22nd January and introduce a brand-new event for the calendar, the Home Interiors Show. There will be a taste of the event in Hall 2, with the inaugural show to come in September. With so much to see and do, we encourage visitors to get familiar with the guide to ensure they make the very most out of their time with us.”

The January Furniture Show has been running for 32 years. More than 15,000 professional retail buyers from a wide range of industries are expected to attend the four-day event, spending more than £500m as they make major purchasing decisions for the year ahead. Buyers in attendance will comprise independent retailers, department stores and multiples, online retailers, architects, interior designers, garden centres, contract buyers, procurement managers, hoteliers and property developers.
