Aspire unites operations with warehouse move

Aspire Furniture has signed a lease on a new 56,400 sqft facility at Copperworks 2 in Leeds. The move consolidates three existing warehouses into a single, purpose-fit operation designed to support the business' continued growth in the UK home furnishings market.

Founded in Yorkshire, Aspire has grown into a £25m turnover business, supplying many of the UK’s largest retailers including Argos, Next, Very, Dunelm, Furniture Village, and Mattress Online. The expansion reflects increasing demand from national partners for broader product ranges and faster, more flexible delivery services, says Aspire.

“Bringing our warehousing under one roof is a major milestone,” says operations director Ben Dobson. “This site gives us greater efficiency, faster order turnaround, and tighter control of stock, all of which are crucial as we scale to meet rising expectations across ecommerce and direct-to-home channels.”

Paul Murphy, CEO of Aspire Furniture, adds: “This move has been over a year in the planning and marks the latest phase of our continual growth strategy. We've seen increasing appetite from national retailers for greater choice and speed in the direct-to-home market and this facility puts us in the perfect position to meet that demand head on.”

The new Leeds site is also strategically located near Aspire’s manufacturing operations, allowing for improved co-ordination across departments and a more integrated supply chain.
