Greetings card marketplace thortful has teamed up with Barker and Stonehouse to launch a collection of ‘new home’ cards, which are "designed to be more than just a message".
The collaboration bridges the worlds of gifting and interiors, with each card design reflecting one of Barker and Stonehouse’s seasonal trend stories.
With gallery walls continuing to rise in popularity, the collection taps into how modern homeowners style their spaces, says thortful, adding that its multiple card sizes mean designs can easily be framed and incorporated into a cohesive, curated home decor look, transforming a simple greeting into “a piece of the furniture”.
“More than ever, people are looking for thoughtful touches that feel personal, meaningful and considered, especially when it comes to milestones like moving into a new home," says thortful. "This collaboration is about reimagining the traditional greeting card as something with lasting emotional and visual value. We want cards to hold onto their sentimental value, rather than a throwaway product, and so by blending thortful’s creative talent with Barker and Stonehouse’s interiors expertise, we’ve created cards that aren’t just beautiful to receive, they’re made to be kept, framed and styled as part of someone’s space. It’s a celebration of design, sentiment and sustainability all in one.”
Lena Gierasinska, head of product and displays at Barker and Stonehouse, adds: "At Barker and Stonehouse, we’re passionate about helping people create homes filled with pieces that are made to last, both in quality and style. Our Buy Better, Buy Once philosophy is all about choosing well-crafted, timeless designs over throwaway trends. That same mindset is woven into this collaboration with thortful. The cards are not just fleeting greetings, but beautiful, trend-informed designs that can be enjoyed long after they’ve been given. It’s about rethinking how we gift, decorate and consume with more intention and care."
