Baumhaus director Phillip Dickens has been served with a three-month suspended prison sentence and a £12,000 fine after the company sold a dangerous cot in which two children became trapped by the neck.
Mr Dickens admitted two counts of his company putting an unsafe Nutkin three-drawer cotbed on the market between January 2010 and July 2013.
The sentence comes a result of a prosecution brought by Buckinghamshire and Surrey Trading Standards.
