As the countdown to the 2014 Bed Show begins, the industry-dedicated event looks set to be the biggest and best event ever organised by the National Bed Federation (NBF).
A host of leading brands from the UK and across the globe have already signed up for the fifth show with 79 brands confirmed including Airsprung Group, Bodyease, Breasley Consumer Products, Furmanac, Harrison Spinks, Hypnos, Silentnight Group, Simmons Group, Sleepshaper, Steinhoff Group, Sweet Dreams, ViSpring and Vogue plus many others.
To be held 23-24 September once again at the Telford International Centre, new NBF member Sherbourne Upholstery is one of the latest names to confirm their attendance.
“We have had unprecedented level of support for the show this year,” says NBF executive director, Jessica Alexander. “September is a crucial time in the industry calendar and having listened to exhibitors’ feedback we have made some improvements to the show.”
The event will keep the same format – two days at the Telford International Centre - opening Tuesday (9.00am-5.30pm) and Wednesday (9am-4pm) on the 23rd and 24th September - but will be held across three halls this year. Once again parking and entry will be free and there will be complimentary refreshment vouchers courtesy of John Cotton and Bekaert Textiles.
“Demand to exhibit at the show has grown so taking on the additional hall means we’re able to create around 25% more space. This enables us to have more members exhibiting but also accommodate requests for larger stands. However, true to the no frills, affordable ethos of the show we are continuing to ensure no single exhibitor dominates with too large or elaborate stands,” says Jessica.
“The extra space has also enabled us to significantly expand the catering areas, which we know have been a bit restricted in the past. The industry can have absolute confidence that the Bed Show will continue to be the home of the bed trade in September. It really is a fantastic place to meet and mix with bed industry colleagues. For anyone in the bed market, it’s not to be missed!”
