Belgian furniture maker ROM has signed up for the new January Furniture Show 2015, having spent many years away from the UK scene.
The latest international brand to sign up for the event, ROM provides a wide collection of design-led, quality functional furniture. Established bin the early 1960s, and based in Eupen in Belgium, the company originally manufactured laundry baskets. Fifty years later, and ROM has grown into an industrial furniture manufacturer offering fashion-inspired, functional pieces.
UK sales manager at ROM, Luc Embrecht, says: "We are really looking forward to next year's January Furniture Show in Birmingham. Our market share in the UK has been constantly rising over the last couple of years and we do have ambitions for further growth. In particular, our '20cm' range of concept-furniture in combination with our unique sales tool, the iRom configurator app, is allowing retailers to create unique bespoke interiors on iPad, giving us a unique strategic advantage in this important market.
"A number of UK-based furniture retailers have already fully taken on board our concept and how easy it is for them to sell any size and functionality requested by the customer. All this, combined with a modern, functional design and even more interesting features, will be on the scene in Birmingham. Come along and let us impress you!"
The organisers of the January Furniture Show 2015, Laraine Janes and Theresa Raymond, comment: "When big international brands such as ROM come back to the UK to exhibit at the January Furniture Show it is a true testament to the importance of such an event. The new-look show will run midweek from Tuesday 13th to Thursday 15th, and as a direct result of the overwhelming success that we've achieved so far, we have now signed a tenancy for the next three years. Due to popular demand and to ensure that we don't clash with any other events, 2016 will run for three days from Sunday 24th to Tuesday 26th January."
