Bensons for Beds is moving into a new store in Waterlooville, Hampshire, in the latest opening of one of its new concept stores designed to offer customers in the area the widest range possible.
The bed and mattress retailer is moving into Unit 6A, Wellington Retail Park, Hambledon Road, Waterlooville, Hampshire, PO7 7FG.
The new store opens on Friday 23rd September with more than 8000 sqt of trading space. It will employ five colleagues.
On the site of the former Argos unit, it replaces the store at the same retail park which it shared with Harveys until 2020 when Bensons became a standalone company.
Bensons’ chief customer officer, Frankie Haynes, says: “Waterlooville is a great location for us and we’re looking forward to opening our new store where we can show the best of what Bensons for Beds has to offer to people in the town and the surrounding region. Customers really like our new-concept stores, where they can see our full ranges and get all the help they need to make the right choice of bed and mattress so they can get the best night’s sleep possible.”
The store is run by manager Leigh Hares, who has been with the company for six years and at the Waterlooville store for just over two years.
The refit is the latest investment by Bensons under its transformation plan, and follows the opening of 20 stores since December.
