Bensons for Beds is returning to Watford with the opening of a new store this week.
The nationwide bed and mattress retailer is moving into Unit 1a on the town’s Colne Valley Retail Park, Watford, Hertfordshire.
Bensons’ new store – above the existing Carpetright store – will open on Friday 28th October, with 2736 sqt of trading space, and employing five colleagues.
It is just a few yards from the previous Bensons store which closed in March, which it had shared with Harveys before Bensons became an independent company in 2020.
Bensons' chief customer officer, Frankie Haynes, says: “We can’t wait to reopen our doors in Watford, where our new store will show the best of what Bensons has to offer to the people in the town and the surrounding area.
“Customers really like our new stores where they can see our full ranges and get all the help they need to make the right choice of bed and mattress so they can get the best night’s sleep possible.”
The store is run by manager Nadeem Yousaf who has been with the company for 19 years and has worked at the Watford, Enfield, Chingford and Colindale stores.
The refit follows the opening of 20 stores since December.
