Bethan Gray, Elle Decoration’s Best British Designer of the Year, is delighted to announce her collaboration with YOO Home that has just opened in a dedicated space at Harrods. Bethan is part of an impressive line up - the Best of British Designers - who have been invited to design exclusive products for YOO’s new retail interiors collection. YOO Home is the latest addition to the YOO brand that was founded 15 years ago by entrepreneur John Hitchcox and celebrated designer Philippe Starck.
Working closely with YOO Home, Bethan has designed an exclusive coffee table version of her Stud Table. Delicate studded detailing in brass adorns the rim of the tabletop, reminiscent of the ornamental decoration found in the Asian and Arabic worlds, adding a luxurious quality which embodies the YOO Home style. This is paired with solid turned elegant brass tipped legs wrapped in hand-finished Spinneybeck leather in rich teal.
Bethan Gray comments: “It has been a privilege to collaborate with YOO Home and share in their extraordinary new vision for the future of home interiors. I’m delighted to have been able to provide key pieces from our boutique collection.”
The YOO Home collection features the best-of-the-best in contemporary design – from well-known names to rising stars from across the globe. It is a collection of 160 pieces of furniture including beds, seating, storage, sofas and lighting, stocked exclusively at Harrods. Original furniture by YOO Home sit alongside a curated selection from iconic design houses including Boffi, Cappellini, Cassina, Droog, Flos, Fritz Hansen, Moooi, Nani Marquina, Poltrona Frau, Zanotta, and show-stopping pieces from Sean Dare, Bethan Gray, Russell Pinch and Jon Male. There are four themes in the collection – Classic, Nature, Minimal and Culture, with the idea that customers can purchase a number of items from each category and with the confidence that they will co-ordinate.
All pieces are available exclusively in the YOO Home collection from its 4000 square foot retail space in Harrods.
