Exova, the global testing, calibration and advisory group, today completed the acquisition of BM TRADA, including FIRA International Ltd.
This move will extend Exova's range of testing and certification services, creating a global offering and broadening its support to customers in new and existing markets worldwide. It will also now be able to offer both expanded capacity and capabilities to help customers meet their commercial goals.
The move will not change the service customers have come to expect from FIRA but it will give them access to a wider scope of expertise. In addition, Exova's services now extend to other disciplines including corrosion and protection, polymers, composites and metal technologies across sectors including aerospace, oil and gas and environmental sciences.
Exova Group can provide customers with access to a wider geographical footprint through a further 121 facilities across 23 countries. As a result, it is now in a stronger position to support any national standard requirements and meet customer needs with an even greater depth of technical knowledge and competence.
