Stirling Furniture Design, the Bolton-based bespoke fitted furniture and cabinetry business, has been named SME Business of the Year 2026 at the Bolton News Awards.
The award recognises the company's continued growth and commitment to quality, craftsmanship and client service. Stirling Furniture Design, trading as M&S Bedrooms, has over 40 years of family heritage, having been passed down through two generations. The business is now run by siblings Kristina Southern (pictured) and Adam Stirling, who took over from their parents and have continued to build on the company's reputation for bespoke, high-quality fitted furniture.
"We're absolutely thrilled to have won this award," says co-director Kristina. "It's a real reflection of the hard work our whole team puts in every day, and of over 40 years of family craftsmanship. This means so much to us."
