Bridgman donates over £10,800 to Greenfingers Charity

Breaking a 30 year-tradition, British furnituremaker Bridgman decided to forgo this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show, instead choosing to give back to the wider community by partnering with Greenfingers Charity.

Rather than exhibiting, the brand donated the money they would have used for stand decor, as well as a percentage of their profits from 22nd-27th May. The total of £10,899 will support Greenfingers’ work in creating gardens for children in hospices across the UK.

“We are proud to be supporting Greenfingers Charity, an organisation that is very close to our hearts. The money we have raised will support Greenfingers’ invaluable work helping children with life-threatening and life-limiting illness and their families to enjoy the outdoors whilst living away from home,” says Bridgman CEO, Alex Bridgman.

Linda Petrons, director of fundraising and communications at Greenfingers Charity, adds: “We are absolutely thrilled to have received such a generous donation from our friends at Bridgman. This donation will make a tremendous difference as we plan more Greenfingers gardens in children's hospices across the UK.”

A long-standing supporter of the charity, Bridgman has donated garden furniture to multiple hospices over the years to help bring these gardens to life.
