Industry charity The Furniture Makers’ Company is holding a ball to celebrate the culmination of its 12-month fundraising campaign, Step 2 It.
The black-tie event is being held on Friday 25th March at the Landmark London, a five-star luxury hotel in Marylebone.
The Step 2 It Ball will commence with a drinks reception in The Drawing Room, with a four-course dinner cooked by executive chef Gary Klaner in The Marble Ballroom, followed by entertainment from the Jazz Dynamos and a charity auction.
Step 2 It has been the charity’s largest-ever fundraiser. The campaign, which has been running since May 2021 and will end in April 2022, has been encouraging companies and individuals to organise sports-based challenges in aid of the charity.
David Woodward, master of The Furniture Makers’ Company, says: “Over the past 10 months, we’ve been encouraging the trade to Step 2 It and raise money for our charity by organising an activity-based fundraiser. The response to the campaign has been outstanding and we have been overwhelmed by the support it has received. The Step 2 It Ball is being organised to toast the success of the campaign and have one big final push.
“The Step 2 It Ball is open to anyone and everyone involved in the furnishing industry. Guests will be able to dance the night away to the world-famous Jazz Dynamos – a truly superb band who have performed for British and Hollywood royalty.
“As well as being a fun night where everyone can get dressed up to the nines and raise some money for our industry’s charity, it is a great occasion to host a gathering of work colleagues, entertain customers or spend an evening with family and friends.”
Tickets for the event cost £220+VAT, with a table of 10 costing £2100+VAT. For more information, and to book, click here.
