Bed manufacturer Comfizone has been recognised in three categories at this year’s Made in Northern Ireland Awards, highlighting a strong period of development for the business across product innovation, sustainability and manufacturing performance.
The company has been named as a finalist in Product Innovation of the Year, Sustainable Manufacturer Award and Manufacturer of the Year.
Operating within the bedding and furniture sector, Comfizone manufactures mattresses, divan bases and headboards, supplying retail partners across the UK and Ireland.
It says the recognition reflects continued investment in product development, alongside a focus on refining manufacturing processes and increasing the use of more sustainable materials. Recent developments have included the introduction of new product ranges designed to enhance comfort and durability, while responding to growing demand for more environmentally conscious solutions within the bedding market.
Operations director Michael McCuskey says the achievement reflects the direction of the business over the past year: “This recognition highlights the progress we’ve made in both product development and manufacturing. It’s a positive step as we continue to invest in the business and respond to evolving market demands.”
The Made in Northern Ireland Awards recognise excellence across the manufacturing sector, with a focus on innovation, sustainability and overall business performance.
