Polish furniture companies will present their rich, innovative and competitive offer at Interiors UK. The potential of the Polish furniture industry will also be promoted by the country’s Ministry of the Economy which supports dynamically developing branches with the help of EU subsidies.
Poland is an influential country for furniture supply within the EU market and exports furniture to China, Germany and Italy. Critical to the success of enterprises manufacturing furniture in Poland is investment in the latest technology and equipment.
Computer-aided production systems used in Polish companies include integrated applications allowing for efficiency from the moment of order to design creation, assembly instructions, preparation of production, control over production, optimisation of use of materials and warehousing together with servicing procedures.
Modern management and logistics systems used in the Polish furniture industry guarantee timely implementation of contracts, supplies and comprehensive service. Polish furniture is of equal quality to that produced in Western Europe, but significantly cheaper. Logistics of furniture supply from Poland allow for delivering a single model within 48 hours in any place in the EU and other European countries. The largest furniture production region, Wielkopolska, is just two and a half hours from central Berlin.
Polish manufacturers of cabinet, upholstered, kitchen and office furniture will be present at the show. This presence constitutes an important element of the Aid Program for Furniture Industry implemented by the Polish Ministry of the Economy under the catchphrase Created in Poland. Its goal is to present and strengthen the position of the strongest Polish furniture brands on an international scale.
Customers will be presented with information on the production possibilities of the Polish furniture industry. This will hopefully increase international business contacts and the export volume. The British market is one of the key directions for Poland.
The three-year Created in Poland programme will continue until 2015. Under this programme Polish furniture will be extensively advertised during fair events across the whole of Europe. This programme encompasses a wide range of fairs which includes imm Cologne, Ukraine’s KIFF and Maison&Objet in Paris. The largest Polish furniture fairs such as Meble Polska and Home Decor will also constitute an important element of the programme.
Meble Polska is the largest presentation of the Polish furniture industry, and – as in 2013 – furniture buyers and journalists from Germany, France, Great Britain, Russia and Ukraine will be invited to participate in the event. Foreign companies interested in importing Polish furniture and investing in Poland will be supported by the Department of Trade Promotion and Investment of Embassies and Consulates of the Republic of Poland.
Representatives of the Ministry of the Economy of the Republic of Poland will be present on stand A45 in Hall 4 at Interiors UK in January, while Hall 5 will contain several Polish companies.
