Interior design exhibition Decorex, taking place at Syon Park, London from 18th-21st September, will explore the roots of design as its theme this year.
Examining the origins of design, which continue to define and shape the future of the industry, Decorex partnered established names with emerging designers to mark the start of this year’s campaign.
One of the first destinations to open the 2016 London Design Festival, Decorex will explore the theme through a series of interactive installations and its popular seminar programme. Visitors to the show will see how true design is built on a rich heritage, constantly evolving to incorporate new techniques and materials.
Designer and craftsman Sebastian Cox comments: “I strongly believe that by looking at the roots of design we can continue to make things that don’t adhere to short-lived trends by looking at our roots we can make things that remain beautiful for centuries.”
