Decorex moves to Syon Park

In September 2014, Decorex International will move to Syon Park. The elegant backdrop of the Robert Adam designed Syon House, and its surrounding parkland, will provide the UK's leading luxury design and interiors show with the much needed space to accommodate more exhibitors, larger stands and to create inspirational showcase features. The new venue will offer a much enhanced experience for over 13,000 visitors who attend the show (2013 visitor figures quoted).

Decorex’s exponential success has seen the show bursting out of its recent central London venues, leading to the decision to place Decorex, in its modern and enhanced format, within the idyllic surroundings of Syon Park. Decorex was previously staged at Syon for ten years and, after thorough research, it is agreed that Syon Park is the best venue to fulfill the combination of elegant environment and space which Decorex needs.

Brand director Simone du Bois says: "Syon Park is an all-encompassing destination that will allow us to expand, and continue to provide the definitive inspirational international showcase for the design industry, where the best and most established brands are presented alongside fresh and emerging talents - both designers and makers. We want to both encourage and support young designers to invigorate the design industry with new ideas, whilst providing a platform to share the wisdom and talent of the great design names we have here in the UK, and from around the world.

Syon Park has the space which will enable us to explore more internal feature areas, and to showcase the exciting talent our industry has to offer. This provides the perfect opportunity to accommodate new designers, core industry names and pop-up restaurants, aspects which will be an important part of creating an event visitors will want to spend a whole day exploring."

There will be free on-site parking at Syon Park, while continual courtesy transport will be in place to provide access to the nearest public transport, together with a return bus service from Central London. The new location heralds an exciting new chapter in the history of Decorex, offering an opportunity to accommodate exhibitors’ requests for additional space, as well as providing a perfect platform to showcase new younger designers.

Decorex has always been at the very heart of the luxury design community, and with this new venue comes the opportunity for 2014 to be more inspirational than ever. This year’s show will take place from 21st–24th September 2014.
