DFS Furniture has announced that independent non-executive director Jane Bednall has decided to step down from its board of directors, with effect from 25th June, the end of the retailer's current financial year.
Non-executive chairman Steve Johnson comments: "I would like to thank Jane for her valued contribution as a member of the DFS Furniture board of directors.
"Jane has used her considerable experience in customer, marketing and digital to assist the company in developing its strategy. On behalf of the entire board and the company, I wish her the very best."
Jane joined DFS in January 2020, and has a strong marketing and commercial background in customer-facing FTSE 50 companies.
