Ferndown, Dorset-based independent David Phipp House Furnisher is holding a closing-down sale ahead of its owner’s planned retirement (effective from 30th September).
“This decision has not been taken lightly and after much deliberation due to suffering a recent bout of ill health, my wife Annie and I have regretfully decided that it is time to finally close our doors,” writes David on the company’s website.
“Since opening in 1972, we have greatly valued the support of our customers and our local community. None of this would have been possible without your loyal custom and the incredible dedication of our staff, whom I consider family.”
The closing down sale will commence on 24th June, with at least -35% off items, and immediate delivery. The showroom will be closed on 22nd-23rd June in preparation.
“We are dedicated to ensuring a smooth transition for our customers and employees in the coming weeks as we proceed with the winding-down process and we assure you that all outstanding obligations to our customers will be fulfilled,” David concludes.
