The National Bed Federation (NBF) is now calling for entries for its 2015 Bed Show Industry Awards – a key event in the bed industry trade calendar.
Now in their fifth year, the awards have become a pinnacle of excellence in the industry and celebrate the most successful bed manufacturers, suppliers and retailers.
There are five categories to enter: Bed Manufacturer of the Year; Bed Component Supplier of the Year; Multiple Bed Retailer of the Year; Independent Bed Retailer of the Year and Bed E-tailer of the Year.
Entrants are encouraged to enter one of the five categories, free of charge, which will be put forward to an independent judging panel including the four key trade editors (Paul Farley, Furniture News; Chris Peck, Cabinet Maker; Richard De Melim, Furnishing Report; and Andrew Kidd, Interiors Monthly) plus Bernard Eaton, managing director of Greenwood Retail and Jessica Alexander, executive director of the National Bed Federation.
“We are looking for businesses - of all shapes and sizes - that can demonstrate that they have made a difference in the past 12-18 months,” says Jessica Alexander, executive director of the NBF, which organises the Bed Show and is the recognised trade association representing UK manufacturers of beds and their suppliers.
“We want to know about those businesses whose talent and determination deserves recognition – this could be because they have increased turnover, boosted sales with an innovative marketing campaign, won awards or gained accreditations, implemented smart eco policies or invested in the business or its people.”
Those wanting to enter can simply fill in the form at www.bedshow.co.uk/awards or download the entry pack. The deadline is Friday 31st July. Winners will be announced at the Bed Show 2015 Gala Dinner - hosted by Gyles Brandreth - on 22nd September 2015. Tickets are already on sale.
Last year’s winners were Hypnos for Bed Manufacturer of the Year; J De Walleg for Bed Supplier of the Year; Furniture Village for Multiple Bed Retailer of the Year; Surrey Beds for Independent Bed Retailer of the Year and Loaf for Bed E-tailer of the Year.
The Bed Show is the only bed-specific exhibition in the UK, and this year takes place 22nd-23rd September 2015 at Telford International Centre. Those wishing to attend this year can register online for free on the Bed Show website.
