Westwing, an international online platform for "curated interiors and inspiration", has made its UK debut. Alongside its own Westwing Collection, the offer includes design brands such as Gubi, Ferm Living and Marimekko, and an edit of "culturally influential brands" from across Europe and beyond, including Anna + Nina, Les Ottomans and Sabre.
The UK launch marks the company’s 23rd market across Europe and follows a landmark year of expansion, with 10 new territories unveiled in 2025 alone, further cementing Westwing’s position in contemporary home design.
The offering, spanning furniture, lighting, textiles and decorative accessories, is targeted towards "UK design lovers who seek inspiration and value craftsmanship and high-quality materials, all while remaining considered and attainable".
CEO Andreas Hoerning says: “We are delighted to bring our world of beautiful living to one of Europe’s most influential design markets to reach even more customers. Entering the UK marks an important milestone for Westwing’s ambition to become the superbrand in design. British design lovers have a deep appreciation for quality and self-expression, values that lie at the heart of our brand.”
The Westwing Collection is backed by a 10-year furniture guarantee, alongside access to the Westwing design service and a dedicated delivery and assembly service.
What began in 2011 as a “shoppable magazine” has evolved into one of Europe’s top destinations for exclusive products and design classics. Westwing was founded by Delia Lachance, whose background as an editor at ELLE and ELLE Decoration Germany shaped her vision for the brand. From the outset, she set out to create a platform that went beyond browsing and purchasing premium pieces – a space designed to inspire customers in how they live with and style their homes.
“I’m excited to bring Westwing, and especially our Westwing Collection designs, into such an inspiring market," she says. "The UK has a long-standing design culture and a real curiosity for interiors, which makes it an incredibly exciting place for us to share our perspective – from timeless, well-crafted pieces to designs that encourage people to express their own sense of style at home.”
For its UK launch, the digital-first model has taken a distinctly localised approach, selecting collections specifically for British homes and lifestyles.
Westwing is headquartered in Munich and went public on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange in 2018.
