Final call for Big Shots

The Furniture Makers’ Company, the furnishing industry’s charity, is putting out a final call for teams to participate in its charity clay pigeon shoot, Big Shots.

Now in its 23rd year, the annual fundraiser, which is generously sponsored by Furniture Village, is taking place on Thursday 8th June 2017 and will once again be held at the E.J. Churchill Shooting Grounds, off the M40 in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.

A popular event, Big Shots is ideal for entertaining clients and suppliers, meeting up with fellow industry colleagues or treating staff to an action-packed day out. All abilities are welcome and there are prizes for different levels.

Dr Tony Smart MBE, Master of The Furniture Makers’ Company, says: “Big Shots is a highlight for many people in the furnishing industry and as always we’d like to thank Furniture Village and all of our other sponsors. The support of the industry at events like these is really important to the Company – it enables us to educate young talent for the future, drive excellence and high standards for our industry and, of course, help people who have hit a tough time and need some assistance.”

Charlie Harrison, director of marketing at Furniture Village and organiser of Big Shots, says: “The work that The Furniture Makers’ Company does is vital to our industry’s ongoing success and Furniture Village is delighted to organise and sponsor Big Shots, which gets bigger and better every year. Whether you’re a first timer or a pro shooter, you’re guaranteed to have a great day out.”

Sponsorship opportunities are still available. Those interested in sponsoring the event or entering a team should contact Sally Kent by emailing [email protected] or calling 020 7562 8526.
