The few remaining stands for this year’s Manchester Furniture Show have been taken by Willis & Gambier, Furniture Link, Crowne Home Décor and Kidsaw bringing the total number of exhibitors to over 130.
Commenting on Willis & Gambier’s decision to join the exhibitor list, show director Theresa Raymond says: “Willis & Gambier are a very welcome addition to our impressive exhibitor list. They always present their products beautifully and their decision to show at Manchester this year is more proof of the importance of this show in the furniture industry’s calendar.”
Furniture Link will exhibit at the show with a large stand in the Charter Hall. They, with Wills & Gambier join the notable list of cabinet exhibitors, including Baker, Nathan, Corndell and Furniture Origins.
Over the past five years, Manchester has seen a growing number of quality exhibitors taking part, particularly in cabinet. This has substantially moved the show away from 'sea of oak' that was present in some previous years. The exhibitor list this year is evidence of the shift which can also be seen in upholstery, where branded upholstery companies such as Westbridge, Ashley Manor, Wade and Whitemeadow are all regular participants and regard the show as a key marketing tool.
