ScS, Oak Furniture Land, The Range and BrightHouse all made it into the Sunday Times Top Track 250, which ranks the UK's leading mid-sized companies.
Home and leisure retailer The Range, with sales of around £500m, was the largest directly involved in the furniture and furnishings category, in 34th place.
£333m turnover furniture and electricals retailer BrightHouse made 73rd place, then £246m turnover upholstery and carpet retailer ScS came in 109th.
Oak Furniture Land was in 242nd place, with its sales increased by 77% to £145.5m.
