G Plan has appointed Stephanie Hildon as its first brand director. Reporting to Ian Oliver, chief executive of G Plan and Parker Knoll at Sofa Brands International, Stephanie’s role will predominantly focus on strengthening G Plan’s brand proposition.
Having worked primarily in the FMCG sector, Stephanie boasts onsumer insight expertise and a knowledge of brand strategy. She has previously worked on a range of brands including Johnson & Johnson, Cadbury and Colgate, Allianz and Bupa. Between 2010 and 2013 Stephanie was the marketing director at Organix, and most recently served as an independent marketing consultant with clients including Trunki and Ceuta Healthcare.
“I am thrilled to be joining the team and am really looking forward to applying the specialist knowledge and skills I have amassed," says Stephanie. "This is a completely new sector to me and I find it amazing that one minute I can be choosing fabrics with the design team, and then I can be on the factory floor seeing these wonderful items being handmade by the incredibly skilled master craftspeople.”
