Gallery Direct has further strengthened its UK distribution and delivery capabilities with the addition of a new delivery hub in Potters Bar, increasing capacity across its national transport network ahead of the peak trading season.
The strategically located hub will strengthen delivery coverage across London and areas north of the Thames, while giving Gallery greater flexibility to manage growing delivery volumes.
The investment will see Gallery’s dedicated home delivery fleet increase to 17 vans during peak trading, operating from four delivery hubs across the UK.
This network forms part of Gallery’s wider transport infrastructure, which also includes articulated lorries, 18-tonne vehicles and dedicated technical support vans, supported by its extensive UK warehousing and distribution facilities.
Ciaran Aldous, operations director at Gallery, says: “Potters Bar is another important step in the continued development of our distribution network. Its location gives us greater flexibility and improved access across a key delivery area, while adding valuable capacity ahead of one of our busiest trading periods.
