Following months of insolvency proceedings at its German parent company, the UK arm of bedroom manufacturer Nolte Mobel has gone into administration.
According to German trade magazine Moebelmarkt, the parent company, which was founded in 1955, had filed for insolvency in November 2023, but, despite earlier restructuring efforts and attempts to sustain operations independently, was unable to recover.
Nick Cusack and Paul Bailey of Bailey Ahmad Ltd (T/A BABR) were appointed as joint administrators of Nolte Mobel Ltd on 2nd May 2025.
They have advised that they are working closely with all relevant parties to ensure that all current orders are fulfilled where possible, and that any customers with outstanding orders should expect to be contacted to arrange delivery over the course of the next two weeks.
