Wakefield-based GNG Group, manufacturer of performance foam products for the healthcare, sports, safety, consumer and contract mattress sectors, has announced the appointment of David Fletcher (ex-Belfield Group) as key accounts director for its Bed Division and Komfi brand.
David joined the company this month, after 18 years as commercial director at Duflex Foam/Usleep, where he managed sales in excess of £40m.
GNG's group chairman, Phil Whittell, says: "Needless to say, David brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role of key accounts director and his contacts in the industry are second to none. Plus he will be advising on operations to escalate our production processes and efficiency to maximise GNG’s output and profitability.
"Just as exciting is that David will be working alongside the Bed Division's consumer sales director, Stuart Hibbert, creating one of the most indomitable and experienced teams in the business, and I can't wait to see the results.
