Harrison Spinks receives international sales accolade

Yorkshire-based bed and mattress manufacturer, Harrison Spinks, has made it into the top 20 of The Sunday Times’ list of private companies in Britain with the fastest-growing international sales. The company, which saw a 123% increase in overseas sales last year, came 15th in the latest edition of the newspaper’s HSBC International Track 200 report, which ranks mid-market companies on global trade.

Simon Spinks, owner and MD of Harrison Spinks, says: “This is an incredible achievement and we’re extremely proud to have finished so highly in the latest Track 200 report. Supported by the hard work of our committed team, we’re delighted that our luxury beds are just as popular across the pond. Our impressive growth, which we’ve seen across all areas of the business over the last couple of years, has us all very excited at what the future holds.”

Harrison Spinks, which also has two Queen’s Awards for Enterprise in Innovation and Sustainable Development for its unique spring technology and growing natural fillings on its own 300-acre farm in Yorkshire which are used throughout its products, sells its range of beds under the Harrison, Somnus and Spink & Edgar brands, as well as manufacturing own label mattresses for some of the UK’s major high street department stores.
