Last Thursday (2nd April), Harvey Norman opened its 318th store globally – its fourth in the UK. The newest location, at The Gracechurch Centre in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, welcomed thousands of shoppers during its soft launch over the Easter Weekend.
“This opening represents another important step in our continued growth across the UK,” says Lachlan Roach, MD of Harvey Norman UK. “We’re thrilled by the strong turnout and the enthusiasm from customers experiencing the Harvey Norman offering for the first time. With several more stores planned, we’re excited to continue expanding our footprint and investing in local communities across the region."
The Australian furniture, bedding, electrical home appliances and technology retailer's UK footprint now comprises: Merry Hill Shopping Centre, West Midlands (flagship store); Boucher Road Retail Park, Belfast; Holywood Exchange Retail Park, Belfast; and Gracechurch Shopping Centre, West Midlands.
The official grand opening will take place on Friday 24th April.
