This year’s Top Drawer, Home and the new Craft show, held together at London’s Earls Court 2 in January, attracted a record number of buyers and exhibitors, presenting over 1000 British and international brands and designer-makers to buyers of design-led homeware, gifts, accessories and craft. Visitor numbers saw a 3% increase against 2013, including a 33% increase in attendance in buyers from Europe.
Retailers in attendance included Selfridges, Liberty, Harrods, Fenwicks, John Lewis, Amazon, Debenhams, Asos, Fenwick, Laura Ashley, House of Fraser and Heals.
At the Home show, Bloomingville provided visitors with an edit of relaxed contemporary homewares while Au Maison, Broste Copenhagen and Ferm Living satisfied the evident desire for on-trend elegant Scandinavian living – all alongside Coach House’s impressive and varied offering.
Top Drawer and Home will take place again this autumn, from 14-16th September. In 2015 – between 11-13th January – the trio of events will relocate to central London’s Olympia.
“Over the last three years we have been positioning the show as the UK’s foremost design-led gift event,” says organiser Clarion’s retail portfolio director, Neil Gaisford. “The move to Olympia allows room for expansion for all shows, being spread over two halls, two floors and a stunning gallery area.”
