Held at the Science Museum in London, the House Beautiful Awards 2014 comprised 23 categories of excellence in home designs, products and retailers. House Beautiful Editor Julia Goodwin was joined by an expert panel of judges, including John Rocha, Nick Munro, Vanessa Arbuthnott, Oliver Hrubiak and Clarissa Hulse to decide each category winner and runners up.
House Beautiful reader-voted category Favourite Home Retailer went to Dunelm and Favourite Online Retailer went to johnlewis.com.
The House Beautiful Awards are also an opportunity to commend rising stars of the design world with the Editor’s Award going to designer and furniture maker Matthew Elton for the Ambrose A-Frame Collection for Heal’s.
