Hyde and Sleep joins The Furniture Ombudsman

Hyde and Sleep, a new British mattress brand, joins The Furniture Ombudsman (TFO) to pledge its ongoing commitment to customer satisfaction.

This means Hyde and Sleep is continuing to raise its standards and as a by-product, consumers can benefit from the expertise of The Furniture Ombudsman for free.

Hyde and Sleep is run by people who are passionate about sleep. It wants to improve the way Britain sleeps, by offering a luxury mattress that is affordable to as many people as possible.

TFO has a pool of members which extends to approximately 6000 furniture and home improvement outlets in the United Kingdom. All of its full members pledge to abide by a Code of Practice which bestows additional rights on the consumers who shop with them. Some of the UK's biggest furniture and home improvement retailers pledge their support for the scheme.

Andrew Tyler, founder of Hyde and Sleep, says: “We’re very pleased to have joined The Furniture Ombudsman. Making sure our customers are well protected and have an independent outlet to resolve any grievance is important to our business. Knowing that the advice offered by TFO is so readily available will help us and our customers sleep easier.”

Kevin Grix, chief Ombudsman and chief executive of The Furniture Ombudsman, says: "By joining our scheme, Hyde and Sleep highlights their responsible business practices. Together we will work to inspire consumer confidence and help raise industry standards. With every member that joins The Furniture Ombudsman, big or small, our ability to improve industry standards and offer consumers an extra layer of protection increases; therefore, we’re glad to gain one more supporter for the work we do here.”
