Increased exhibitor numbers and pre-registrations for London Fabric Show

Two new exhibitors have been added to the exhibitor list for the 2016 London Fabric Show. This brings the number of exhibitors to 33, up from 21 for the 2015 show. The show takes place on 29th February and 1st March in the executive boxes of Chelsea FC.

The latest exhibitors to join the international are two new exhibitors from Turkey – Benti Textile from Bursa and Yakar Textile from Istanbul. They join big-brand exhibitors from Belgium, Italy, Spain, Turkey and the UK, including Ter Molst, Escolys, Abraham Moon & Sons and Pozzi Arturo.

Benti Textile will bring a wide selection of its traditional and contemporary upholstery fabrics. All of the company's fabrics are produced in its high-tec factory, which produces over 3m metres of fabric a year. Yakar Textile is one of the biggest producers and exporters of upholstery and decorative fabrics in Turkey. It produces a whole range of fabrics including high-end luxurious jacquards and chenilles, as well as vibrant modern prints.

In addition to increased exhibitor numbers, the BFM has reported that the number of pre-registered visitors has increased by 41%, compared to the same time last year.

BFM MD Jackie Bazeley says: “We are delighted to see a large increase in the number of pre-registered visitors. This is a growing and developing show and gives UK furniture and soft furnishing manufacturers, and fabric buyers, a truly unique opportunity to see some of the best international and British fabric producers under one roof. We have a greater diversity of fabrics on offer this year, whilst retaining a very high quality level. We are looking forward to a successful show for both exhibitors and visitors.”
