A new website launched by the British Furniture Manufacturers (BFM) includes an opportunity for members to promote their work in the digital marketplace.
Each BFM member will have a profile page dedicated to their business – giving customers an easy-to-search showcase of British furnishings and homewares.
BFM MD Nick Garratt says: “It’s more important than ever that we reinforce the ‘buy British’ message to customers and promote the quality, safety, comfort and professionalism that is associated with British-made goods. The new online area is a step above the previous directory service, giving our members a much greater profile of their own businesses, with an enhanced area to showcase their company.
“This platform is crucial in connecting with consumers across the nation and getting the ‘buy British’ message across. It will also evolve to feature case studies and videos around the work of members, bringing to life the story of the sector, its businesses and products.”
The website follows the launch of a new legal toolkit for members.
Nick adds: “We believe it is more important than ever that we also engage in the digital marketplace. I encourage all our members to make the most of their business profile within the directory area and help us put British talent and skills into the spotlight.”
