TCM Living Group has joined The Furniture Makers’ Company, the City of London livery company and charity to the furnishing industry, as a corporate member.
TCM Living Group, the parent company of upholstery brands Alstons, Ashley Manor, AMX-Design and Alexander and James, was formally welcomed as a corporate member on 20th June at Furniture Makers’ Hall, London. The following were admitted as corporate liverymen and personally welcomed by Amanda Waring, the master of The Furniture Makers’ Company during an admission ceremony: Andy Kennaugh, MD of Alstons; Gareth Mayhew, director of ESG and compliance at TCM Living Group; and Jonathan Fearn, CEO of TCM Living Group.
Amanda Waring says: “We are delighted that TCM Living Group has joined The Furniture Makers’ Company as a corporate member and we welcome Andy, Gareth and Jonathan. Our corporate members are of the greatest importance to us. We are delighted that so many different companies from the wider furnishing industry understand the importance of joining as members and supporting our charitable endeavours. All members, individual or corporate, are invited to participate in the many events in the city livery calendar, which are great for networking, entertaining, as well as having fun.”
Jonathan Fearn comments: “Andy, Gareth and I are delighted to represent TCM Living as a corporate member of The Furniture Makers’ Company. We believe strongly in the need to work together as an industry to support and develop the UK’s future furnituremakers, and to increase awareness of the skills and value in each piece of furniture produced every day.”
