The Natuzzi Group has announced the start of a collaboration with Jan Mentens, as the legal representative of Mencobe BVBA, for the development of Natuzzi’s business in West Europe.
The collaboration is part of the new commercial organisation of the upholstery giant, based on growth forecasts of the group’s business plan to 2016.
The collaboration will be aimed at restructuring and consolidating mature markets of Western Europe. Jan will co-ordinate his activity with Marco Saltalamacchia, chief commercial officer of the Natuzzi Group.
"I am very glad to collaborate with Natuzzi and I will give my contribution to reaching the objectives of the new ambitious plan to revitalise the company," says Jan. "The region on which my activity will be focused is complex and I accept this challenge to ensure the correct strategy with great passion and experience."
Jan Mentens recently worked as director of the Brussels Furniture Fair, which followed 10 years of co-operation with the Natuzzi Group, where he served in positions of increasing responsibility. Before that, he was the country manager in Belgium for buying group Regent Möbel.
