Jeff Banks' Ena Shaw Home visit

Last Friday, customers at the newly-refurbished St Helens-based furnishings retailer, Ena Shaw Home, enjoyed an exclusive style consultancy session with fashion and interior designer Jeff Banks. The family-owned business welcomed Jeff to its Duke Street store before he answered customers’ interior design questions and displayed his own range of home wares, which are stocked at Ena Shaw Home.

Jeff says: “It was fantastic meeting the people who have my range in their homes and offering them interior design advice on how best to put the pieces together. I’ve got a soft spot for the North West, and work with many of the region’s suppliers and manufacturers, so I jumped at the chance of helping to style people’s homes in St Helens.”

Jeff also selected one Ena Shaw Home customer, Mrs Halsall from Moss Bank, St Helens, to win a deluxe £500 hamper jam-packed with ready-made curtains, bed linen, cushions, towels and accessories from the Jeff Banks Home range.

Twice named as British Designer of the Year, Jeff has previously designed ranges for Debenhams and Matalan, and is co-founder of the fashion chain, Warehouse.

Barrie Potter, MD of Ena Shaw Home, said: “We were thrilled that Jeff was able to join us in our new-look store today. It gave customers something to really look forward to and provided them with a unique chance to meet one of the country’s biggest style and design icons.”

The new store is now fully open, and offers a significantly extended furniture department, including a new Stressless Studio, Parker Knoll, Leather Editions from Natuzzi and the contemporary sofa brand, Sits. Ena Shaw Home also offers a wide range of other home essentials, including an extensive selection of curtains, blinds, beds, carpets, rugs and linens.
