Newly-refurbished St Helens-based furnishings retailer, Ena Shaw Home, will welcome the Godfather of British fashion and interior design, Jeff Banks, to its Duke Street store on Friday 19th April. Jeff will be displaying his range of homewares, including ready-made and made-to-measure curtains, made-to-measure blinds, bed linen, cushions and rugs.
Twice named British Designer of the Year, Jeff has previously designed ranges for Debenhams and Matalan, and is co-founder of the fashion chain Warehouse.
Jeff will be at the store between 12-2pm, and will be offering discerning homeowners free style consultations. Visitors can bring in photographs of their own homes, and quiz Jeff on how best to make their own space as stylish as possible.
Customers are set to be inspired by the chic ranges, and will benefit from a 20% discount on the day.
Jeff says: “I jumped at the chance to come to Ena Shaw Home and discuss my range with customers – seeing people use items I’ve designed to create stylish rooms which they want to spend time in is the most satisfying part of being a designer. I’m also thrilled to be visiting Merseyside – the area has such a great record of producing inspirational fashion designers. And of course, the textile production heritage of the region is renowned too.”
Barrie Potter, MD of Ena Shaw Home, adds: “We’re so pleased that Jeff is able to join us. His ranges fit in perfectly with the stylish new look of the store. We’ve invested over £250,000 in creating a modern shopping environment for our customers, and Jeff’s visit is the first of many exclusive events that we’ll be holding.”
The new store is now fully open, with a significantly extended furniture department, including a new Stressless Studio, Parker Knoll, Leather Editions from Natuzzi and the contemporary sofa brand, Sits.
