JYSK delivers record global turnover

For the FY 2024/25, JYSK increased its turnover by +11.8% to €6.2b, and welcomed a record 13.7 million new customers. JYSK, known for its Scandinavian sleeping and living offer, continued to invest in lowering its already-competitive prices, resulting in an increase of +12.8% in the number of units sold.

“I am very pleased with our turnover results for the FY 2024/25, which clearly shows the resilience and strength of our JYSK concept in a retail market under pressure from global uncertainties and low consumer trust," says Rami Jensen, JYSK's president and CEO. "We continued our positive momentum throughout the year with focus on our customers, great offers and a relevant and attractive assortment. I would like to thank our great employees for their hard work and dedication, and not least their great customer-first mindset.”

In the spring, JYSK opened its first stores on the African continent, in Morocco. In total, JYSK opened 148 new stores and invested in 303 store activities, which included relocations and enlargements of existing stores and updates to the newest store concept 3.0. JYSK also expanded into Uruguay on the South American continent, where the first franchise store opened in March.

Furthermore, JYSK set a new customer record with 13.7 million new customers shopping in one of the more than 3,500 JYSK stores across 50 countries compared to the year before.

“Expansion is embedded in our DNA, and we have successfully been able to deliver record results while also investing in our existing and new stores, our distribution centres and competitive prices for our customers," Rami adds. "I am happy to see that our great offers have attracted a record number of new customers to our stores in both Europe, Türkiye and Morocco.”

During the period, more JYSK countries than ever received an award or certification as proof of being a good place to work. Across 21 countries, employer awards and certifications such as ‘Top Employer’, ‘Great Place to Work’, and ‘Inspiring Workplace’ were awarded. 10 countries received the certification of ‘Top Employer’ meaning that JYSK as a company is recognised as one of the top employers in Europe. JYSK was also ranked globally by Forbes as one of the 'World’s Best Employers'.

“We stand on our strong company values – Tradesman, Colleague, and Corporate Spirit – and I am proud that we are recognised as a workplace where we value our employees," Rami concludes. "I am confident that with our financial results, our investments in expansion and our great employees, we will be customers’ first choice for a great offer within sleeping and living.”
