kbb and partners raise £1340 for WaterAid

kbb at May Design Series and kbb Birmingham, organised by UBM Live Built Environment, have announced in conjunction with the Bathroom Manufacturers Association (BMA) that £1340 has been raised for WaterAid UK by the Bathroom Industry Golf Challenge, held on the 6th October during the annual BMA conference at the Heythrop Park Crowne Plaza Hotel.

Jon Johnston, sales director for the kbb events, Yvonne Orgil, chief executive of the BMA, and Darren Summerfield, publisher at Hubert Burda Media, presented the money raised to WaterAid UK at the Ideal Standard headquarters in London on Friday.

WaterAid UK is an international charity transforming lives and improving access to safe water, hygiene and sanitation. The cheque was presented to Katie Grace, corporate account manager at WaterAid UK, who says: “It’s wonderful for WaterAid to have the support of the bathroom industry, and we are most thankful for its continued efforts and the fantastic sum of money raised. A donation of just £10 can provide a well to those in need of water, so it’s clear to see that this donation will make a massive difference to those in need.”

The annual Golf Day has raised £6631 for WaterAid UK over the last four years, as part of a continued commitment to improving the availability of clean and safe water across the globe.
