Kettle again facing administration

Cabinet furniture supplier Kettle is facing administration for the second time in 18 months, as the management at Corby-based Kettle Home, the business set up in the wake of the demise of Kettle Interiors in March last year, told staff yesterday that the business would not continue to trade, reports the Northamptonshire Telegraph.

In March 2023, 20-year-old cabinet supplier Kettle Interiors entered administration, when the cumulative weight of price increases proved too much to bear. In its place, new company Kettle Home promised some continuity (see related).

According to the local newspaper, bills have not been paid, and rumours of the closure had been circulating for some time, with the business selling stock locally in recent weeks.

Members of Kettle's team have already reached out for new opportunities on social media.
