Kyoto Futons has announced the appointment of Mark Ballard as GM. Mark joins with over 22 years’ experience in logistics, bringing a wealth of knowledge across ecommerce, B2B, B2C, mail order and returns. His career spans multiple sectors, including fashion, home and garden, healthcare and food, giving him a broad and well-rounded understanding of operations.
Prior to joining Kyoto, Mark worked at CEVA Logistics, where he led projects focused on quality, continuous improvement and operational performance. His experience includes managing new contract launches, implementing process improvements and developing and supporting high-performing teams.
Known for his collaborative approach and commitment to making a positive impact, Mark has consistently gravitated towards roles where he can drive meaningful change and contribute to a strong team culture, says Kyoto, adding: "His appointment reflects Kyoto’s ongoing investment in people, processes and infrastructure as the business continues to evolve."

Mark's appointment follows that of Paul Little as sales and marketing director, as Kyoto builds a leadership team "focused on driving the business forward".
