La-Z-Boy appoints agencies for marketing push

La-Z-Boy UK has appointed a series of agencies to assist the brand in implementing its new marketing strategy.

London-based creative agency Bandstand will lay the foundations for a brand strategy as well as an advertising and communications campaign, first in the UK and then extending into Europe.

Furniture specialist Wyldfire PR and Marketing has been appointed to deliver media relations and publicity for the UK and Ireland, and to carry out key elements of La-Z-Boy’s digital campaign, including redeveloping the UK website.

Bedfordshire agency Cirka Creative will develop the brand’s point of sale material and assist with support for the new Comfort Studios concept, due to launch in stores this summer.

MD Keith Wilson has stated that all key elements are now in place to ensure a strong foundation for the brand’s marketing push.

“We will be planning both B2B and consumer strategies, paying particular attention to our digital reach, as well as above the line advertising,” he says.

“We’d like to welcome our new agency partners on board, who will act as integral parts of the La-Z-Boy UK team as we move forward with our plans for 2017 and beyond.”

The firm is also currently recruiting additional team members at its Maidenhead HQ. Its Originals Collection, designed exclusively for independents, is currently in production.
