La-Z-Boy UK is set to move into the garden furniture sector with a new outdoor living range. The products will be launched at Glee 2013 at NEC Birmingham from 15th to 17th September, on stand 5F08.
The ranges bring the comfort and quality for which La-Z-Boy is renowned to the garden. The chairs will feature reclining backs and footrests – a feature as yet unseen in the UK – and matching tables will complete the ultimate outdoor living experience.
Managing director of La-Z-Boy UK, David Winter, says the time is right to introduce a new standard of garden furniture to the market.
“The La-Z-Boy technology is a perfect fit with the outdoor furniture market, and today’s consumer appreciates the quality and reliability of a luxury brand name,” he said.
“The recent heatwave has made everyone realise the importance of being able to relax in comfort in our gardens and now we are proud to offer truly unrivalled comfort outdoors. What’s more, the furniture is made from durable, weather-proof materials and will come with branded covers to enable it to withstand the British winters.”
Built around a rust-proof aluminium frame, the recliners will feature UV-protected resin weave and UV-protected quick-dry upholstery.
