Leekes plans Cross Hands refurb

Amid ongoing improvements at its Llantrisant store (read more here), Leekes has confirmed that it plans to refurbish its Cross Hands store as its approaches its 40th year at the Carmarthenshire location.

The investment is set to be in line with enhancements made at other locations, including improvements made to the furniture floor, with the introduction of studios from brands such as Stressless, ercol and Orla Kiely/The Branded Furniture Company, and a new bed department/Sleep Zone.

The store will open to invited guests for a £5m refurbishment sale on 27th July, before reopening to the general public on 28th July.

Store manager Charles Larsen says: "We are looking forward to starting our store refurbishment later this year, which will see a remodelled furniture floor, and new carpet and flooring departments. Since opening in Cross Hands almost 40 years ago, Leekes have built an unrivalled reputation with our inspirational displays and excellent levels of customer service, and it is important that we continue to retain this."
