Furniture and homeware brand Loaf is opening its 10th Shack (showroom) – its largest to date – in Redbrick, near Leeds, next month.
The new showroom will be double the size of the Edinburgh store that opened in February. The two-floor, 15,500 sqft, open-plan standalone site is housed in one of Redbrick's original mill buildings, adjacent to the main shopping complex.
As well as Loaf’s signature products, the showroom will house a mattress testing area, dedicated areas for modular sofas, sofabeds and beds, plus the brand's largest space yet to feature homewares. Table football and retro sweet machines will be on hand, plus snugs in which to watch films, a biscuit bar at the front counter, and a built-in fireplace.
Loaf’s CEO Sam Perkins says: “We’ve had high customer demand to open another Shack in the north of England and we’re thrilled to be introducing our 10th showroom in the Leeds area. Redbrick is one of the UK’s top retail destinations for furniture and interiors, and we know that our largest space to date will be amongst great company. We look forward to opening the doors to Loaf’s laid-back world!”
Redbrick MD, Alastair Bailey, adds: "We are very pleased that Loaf, the iconic creative brand, has chosen Redbrick as their latest location. We believe that their innovative 15,500 sqft Loaf Shack will be an impressive and valuable addition to the Redbrick retail complex, and reinforces our reputation as the North’s leading interiors destination."
