LuxDeco continues support of independent designers with annual ‘Think Big, Shop Small’ initiative London, April 2022; For immediate release
Interiors curator and retail platform LuxDeco is continuing to champion small, independent artisans and new designers through its home-grown initiative, Think Big, Shop Small, taking place until 12th May 2022.
Launched in March 2020, Think Big, Shop Small was designed to support creatives hit by the pandemic's restrictions and financial implications. Now in its third year, Think Big, Shop Small will see LuxDeco continue to commit to numerous initiatives in support of participating brands and their collections.
These include: providing free, London-based warehousing, national and international distribution support; the absorption of a sales-driving 10% discount; doubling of marketing spend promoting the designers and collections during the campaign; plus the creation of a selection of customisable marketing assets for each brand to use throughout it.
LuxDeco is also pledging its first B2B mentorship programme for Think Big, Shop Small partners – a way for LuxDeco department leaders across ecommerce, technology development and marketing to empower, assist and advise on numerous topics with each brand to aid their development.
The Think Big, Shop Small brands, sourced by the internal LuxDeco buyers from social media, blogs and design articles, are all niche, artisan-led companies from all over the world that specialise in their craft and produce to order in small, limited runs.
LuxDeco says those brands featured in the campaign's launch in 2020 saw a +52% increase in sales revenue.
Jonathan Holmes, founder and CEO of LuxDeco, says: “A large percentage of our brands have been affected by the shock of the last 24 months. As retail spaces reopen and demand heightens, it’s our responsibility to continue to champion the world’s finest independent design and interiors brands and artisans to ensure they are armed with everything they require to succeed and thrive.”
