Luxury homewares brand Birdie Fortescue has chosen global fulfilment specialist, Prolog Fulfilment, as its fulfilment partner to support the company’s continued growth, which has seen it expand from a regional Norfolk antiques business into an international label, partnering with high-profile collaborators and launching its first US digital and pop-up presence in New York.
Prolog will manage Birdie Fortescue’s end-to-end fulfilment, including secure warehousing for its full product range, from smaller homewares to large and bulky furniture. Specialist handling procedures and quality checks will aim to ensure high-value and fragile products are protected throughout the operation.
Orders will be picked, packed and dispatched using packaging appropriate to the premium brand. For larger furniture, Prolog says it will co-ordinate a two-man, white-glove delivery service, offering booked delivery slots, room-of-choice delivery, unpacking, positioning and packaging removal.
The partnership also includes value-added services, including assembly and finishing work, alongside returns management and aftercare.
Steph Mitcheson, business development director at Prolog, says: “The partnership reflects the growing demand among premium home and interiors brands for fulfilment solutions that go beyond conventional warehousing and distribution, providing the specialist handling, added-value services and customer experience required for high-value brands.
"Our solution gives Birdie Fortescue a single, trusted partner managing the full journey from warehouse to living room, protecting the brand's reputation for quality at every step.”
A Birdie Fortescue spokesperson adds: “Prolog's specialist approach gives us confidence that our homeware will be handled with the same care from the moment it enters the warehouse through to delivery into our customers' homes.”
