Luxury Swedish brand Carpe Diem Beds has announced that it plans to launch a UK wholesale business through UK-based sales agent, Oliver Bowen.
Two years ago, the brand opened a flagship store in Marylebone, London, before entering Harrods this April.
“We are incredibly excited about taking this step and being able to reach more people across the UK," comments Helen RK Jensen, VP brand, Carpe Diem Beds. "The brand’s vision is to always be at the forefront when it comes to combining luxurious comfort with stylish design whilst being able to offer a complete solution for the bedroom, and we look forward to reaching even more people across the UK. We have entered an agreement with a UK-based sales agent (Oliver, pictured) who has extensive experience in the retail bedding industry, and we are beyond excited to start expanding in such an important market for us.”
Other than the four directly operated flagship stores in Sweden, Denmark and the UK, Carpe Diem Beds are available through retailers in 20 countries. The retail offering is complemented by an ecommerce site, which already offers UK consumers a complete brand and product experience.
“I am delighted to be offered the opportunity of working with such an amazing brand as Carpe Diem Beds," says Oliver. "They have achieved great success over the last two decades and their journey has been truly exciting to witness. I believe that Carpe Diem Beds has enormous potential, and I am eager to get to work on delivering the existing strategy for the UK market and to accelerate the brand’s growth.”
Carpe Diem Beds was founded over two decades ago on the Swedish west coast and has since garnered a reputation of unique know-how in creating handmade beds that are showcased in top hotels and private homes around the world.
